I'LL BUY A RING, WE'LL HIRE A BAND

With an accordion and a violin and a tenor who can sing

Marjolyn and Dylan met over a shared love of music during the end of 2020. The initial line was something like "how do you EQ your drums?" and the rest was history. What started as a tight friendship for months grew deeper into two sides of the same soul.

They bonded through countless creative endeavors, idolized Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin, film, photography, records, books, Leonard Cohen, the Beatles, David Lynch, New York City, the Netherlands, cats, pomme frites, coffee mugs, fashion, Aperol Spritz, Francoise Hardy, sense of humor, and the most spontaneous adventures they could think of. Once seperated by coasts, Marjolyn and Dylan built their relationship long-distance until eventually they lived inseparable lives in their home of Pasadena, California. In 2021, they welcomed their cat Oliver Gardner into their lives (hold for applause). 

Two endlessly tinkering creatives, with the help of each other Dylan crafted his music while touring the world as Marjolyn grew from her early first fashion jobs all the way to color designer. Through every twist and turn their lives had in store, their solid foundation of friendship always got them through. Five years later, they're thrilled to be starting their next chapter as husband and wife. This wedding is more than just a celebration, it's a culmination of all the hard work each of them have put in every day of their lives up to this ceremony. They are excited to share this special day with the people who have supported, encouraged, and grew alongside them throughout the years. Your presence means the world to them and they're looking forward to making more memories with all of you.
